About Dr. Martin

Dr. Martin has been serving patients as an orthopedic surgeon for over 17 years. A native Oklahoman, Dr. Martin pursued his undergraduate studies in Pre-medicine at Oklahoma State University where he was a varsity track athlete. After college, he graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1986. He completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Doctors Hospital, Ohio University, in Columbus, Ohio. He returned to Oklahoma in 1991 to establish a private practice. Dr. Martin served in Enid and the Northwest Oklahoma Orthopedic Clinic for eleven years. Seeing a need to further help patients suffering with hip pain, Dr. Martin moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to complete a fellowship in sports medicine, hip arthroscopy and hip disorders at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He assisted as a consultant for professional athletes including NFL, PGA, LPGA, and NHL players, as well as athletes of all levels.
